Dick Kiernan
Executive Director
Dick would describe himself as a ‘cradle Catholic’ with a unique faith journey. Raised in the Catholic Church, he deviated from this at age 14 and converted to atheism for ten years. At age 24, he came back to the Lord through the Evangelical campus ministry, The Navigators, went on to be discipled by charismatics, and later theologized at a Catholic renewal University. Together, these experiences exposed him to different streams and expressions within the Church and gave him love and appreciation for the entire Body of Christ.
In 1990, he joined the prayer movement that would later become the NH Alliance. In 2003, when the NH Alliance was established, he said yes to serving on the NHA Board and the NH Alliance Coordinator. In this role, he oversees the activities and events of the NH Alliance. In addition to working with the NHA, Dick has worked full time with Alpha New England for the last 14 years. His atheist journey made him passionate about evangelism and winning the churched and un-churched alike for Christ.
Dick has five children ages 15-25, all of whom are believers and four who actively serve the Lord in some way. He believes the Lord is calling for Christians to unite all God's people for the greater purpose of revival and awakening to reach the lost. In his words, “how can we do otherwise?”
