A Show of solidarity and unity as we stand with our persecuted brothers and sisters throughout the Middle East.
Church of New Hampshire it’s time to arise! It is time to use our new found “unity” for the cause of Christ. David asks in 1 Samuel 17:29, “Is there not a cause?”
Today we are watching our brothers and sisters in the Middle East be systematically murdered for merely being “Christians”. We must stand up and stand with them in this hour.
Church of NH…here is what we can do together:
Mark your calendars for April 10th and plan to join with Christians all over the State at JFK Coliseum in Manchester to pray for those who persecute us.
Pastor Lydia O’Leary from the Believer’s Meeting is inviting us to join in a new campaign called Ribbons for Rescue. This orange ribbon campaign is a show of solidarity, with the orange representing the orange jumpsuits that are being worn by those who are losing their lives for their faith.
“Our ribbons are not a symbol of hatred against Islam, but a declaration of love for who Christ was, all that He came for, and all that He bled for. He came to save the world.”
Lydia goes on to say, “We have all been praying for unity in the church and I truly believe this is the Lord’s heart to gather the church across America on one issue that is central to His heart right now. There is no time to waste as our brothers and sisters are being captured and killed. We NEED to stand in the opposite Spirit of what is being done. Our warfare is in the Spirit so to combat a spirit of death we MUST stand together in Christ for LIFE and to combat the spirit of division we MUST come together in a spirit of unity.”
As the Director of Symphony House of Prayer in Manchester, NH, I personally can no longer watch the
news with the steady increase and escalation of violence against Christians and do nothing. We must unify and act now. That is why Symphony House of Prayer is joining forces with Lydia and others from the Ribbons for Rescue campaign. Starting this Thursday, we will be handing out orange ribbons and praying together for the persecuted church.
Lydia says that the Ribbons for Rescue Campaign will be launching in Boston, NY and DC and the director, Keith Davies, is hoping to see it spread throughout the country.
